Dr Kara Dickson - Osteopath

Dr Kara MitchellKara’s inherent passion for working with people and helping them achieve their health goals is what lead her to a career in Osteopathy.  She thrives on helping people regain control of their body and as such improve their quality of life.

Kara completed her studies at RMIT University where she attained a Bachelor degree in Applied Science and a Masters degree in Osteopathy. In addition to working in private practice at Living Life Sports Medicine, Kara also works as an Associate Lecturer at RMIT University in the discipline of Osteopathy.

Having grown up in a sporting family and played netball and representative basketball, Kara has a strong passion for working with active people. She knows the importance of individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans in order to help people get back on track with their health goals. Kara completed her sports trainer’s course worked closely with coaches and players as head trainer for a football team in the Victorian Amateur Football Association. She is also qualified in Dry Needling technique, which she can use to compliment her osteopathic technique.

Kara is passionate, hardworking and motivated to continue learning in order to further enhance her skills as an Osteopath. Through treatment and individualised advice, she aims to improve structure, restore function and empower people to take control of their health. She enjoys treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions including:
